Entry-Level Science Jobs

Entry-level scientists are responsible for designing, conducting and analyzing experiments. They have to develop new products, processes or commercial applications. Entry-level scientists present ongoing work and findings to colleagues at academic conferences, and producing academic posters which summaries the nature of their research, their methodology and their findings. Entry-level scientists have the responsibility of teaching, demonstrating or supervising students and members of staff. Entry-level scientist work in multidisciplinary teams in academia or in industry, across different functions of the business. They may plan and supervise plant performance and provide technical support to the commissioning team.

An entry-level scientist should have a degree with a major in science or a related discipline. Entry-level scientists should have a flexible mind and ability to assimilate large amounts of different data at one time and ability to present technical proposals clearly.
