Entry Level Nursing Jobs

An entry-level nurse takes on some secondary care responsibilities, including anesthesiology midwifery and certain other clinical responsibilities. Duties include setting up work schedules, assigning duties to a nursing staff, and ensuring that each member of the nursing team is adequately trained. An entry-level nurse ensures that nursing records are correctly maintained, that report is correctly given at each shift change, and that equipment and other supplies are in stock; escorts patients to operating and examining rooms, keep patients' rooms neat, sets up equipment, stores and moves supplies, or assists with some procedures. An entry-level nurse observes patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any change to the nursing or medical staff. An entry-level nurse also develops the day-to-day nursing care plans both in hospital, and for care after discharge by families and visiting nurses.

Educational requirements to become an entry-level nurse is a nursing degree or course, masters in nursing, and proper training. An entry-level nurse requires special skills, and different levels of patient interactions.
