Entry Level Medical Jobs

An entry-level medical candidate coordinates and participates in the interviewing process to obtain medical, personal, social, and environmental information from patients, families and other concerned parties to ensure total patient care from the onset with illness and or injury through acute care and rehabilitation. An entry-level medical candidate establishes and maintains liaison between the patient’s family and the treating physicians; defines complex medical, surgical diagnoses, and therapeutic procedures to the patients and their families to allay fears and to obtain cooperation in gaining the maximum benefit from prescribed treatment; evaluates collected data regarding the medical or psychiatric plan of treatment, available social service programs, and knowledge of casework or group work. An entry-level medical candidate develops educational programs to assist patient and family adjust to problems associated with acute hospitalization. An entry-level medical candidate prepares reports and analyses settings forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions and maintains liaison with various local and regional health care agencies.

An entry-level medical candidate requires a degree in biochemistry, lab sciences, or any medical related degree. Experience in clinical chemistry products may be an advantage. An entry-level medical candidate must have an intellectual mind and a pleasing personality and should have computer operative skills. They should be able to do office work, laboratory work, and field work.
