Entry-Level Health Care Jobs

An entry-level healthcare analyst provides research and project management support for research and measures development. An entry-level healthcare analyst supports the development of new performance measures for products. An entry-level healthcare analyst also supports the reevaluation of existing measures. Major responsibilities include assessing the status of performance measurement related to populations and/or clinical conditions, reviewing literature for relevant background information, consulting with clinical and methodological experts, performing data analyses and communicating with internal and external customers. In addition, an entry-level healthcare analyst drafts re-evaluation measure work-ups for review by the technical advisory group and committee on performance measurement.

A bachelor's degree is required for an entry-level healthcare analyst job. In addition, 2 years project management experience and a good overall knowledge of healthcare and healthcare policy is an advantage. An entry-level healthcare analyst should also have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to manage several tasks/projects simultaneously (project management skills).
