The entry level editing professional conducts the final-editing of all accepted articles and requesting final approval from authors and prepares the final articles for layout and reviewing the page proofs of the layout. They are responsible to set and enforce deadlines. Those entry level editing professionals in the field of graphics are responsible soliciting or producing graphics or artwork as needed. They are also responsible for optimizing online graphics for fast download speed. In a magazine company, the executive editor or editor in chief sees that the company's editorial policy is carried out. This job is primarily administrative, and entry level professionals help in the tasks. These jobs are not relatively open for entry level editing professionals, but require some sort of experience on the part of the candidate. All tasks done by these professionals are subject to review of senior editors.
