Entry-Level Data Entry Jobs description
Entry Level Data Entry professionals operate data entry device, such as keyboard or photo composing perforator. Duties may include verifying data and preparing materials for printing. They are required to compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. Entry Level Data Entry professionals locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors. They maintain logs of activities and completed work and read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards and scanners. Entry Level Data Entry professionals resolve garbled or indecipherable messages, using cryptographic procedures and equipment. They have to select materials needed to complete work assignments and store completed documents in appropriate locations.Data entry tasks can be done by all who have sound knowledge of the language and computers. No qualifications required.
